Double Chocolate Chip Chia Pudding

This was the first ever chia pudding I made back in 2016. I recreated it with a small twist.
Chocolate never fails to make me smile!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 -3/4 cup of milk of your choice. I used plant based pea protein milk. Other options are flax/ cashew/ almond/ coconut milk
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tbsp ground cacao
1 tbsp monk fruit syrup/ ripe banana / stevia / maple syrup/ honey
1 tbsp sweet cacao nibs
1 teaspoon of shredded coconut
1 teaspoon of slivered almonds
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne (twist)
Instructions:
Mix milk and cacao whisk until it’s a smooth mixture. Cacao takes time to dissolve so be patient.
Add chia seeds and mix well. Make sure all the chia seeds are nicely incorporated with the milk.
Add cinnamon, sweetener and mix.
Add half of the cayenne to this mixture.
Add half of the chocolate chips and let it sit at room temperature for 30-40 mins.
Top it with the remainder of chocolate chips, coconut, cayenne and almonds
Chill in the refrigerator and enjoy as a dessert or breakfast or mid afternoon snack 🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫
