Golden Milk Oats Chia Pudding!

Yummy, nutritious and healthy breakfast/brunch. I ate this after my fasted workout.

Turmeric is antiseptic and anti inflammatory. Along with pepper it’s better absorbed. Cardamom and cinnamon make everything feel like dessert. Banana is a sweetener and rich in fibre and potassium. All and all a delicious dish!


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of steel cut oats

  • 1tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and cardamom powder

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric and ginger powder

  • pinch of black pepper

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk or 2 tbsp of coconut cream

  • 1 banana

  • Any toppings your Haert desires! I used zested orange (1 teaspoon), walnuts (5 chopped) and raspberries

Instructions:

  1. Boil water and add oats

  2. Once it starts boiling add all the spices and 3/4 mashed bananas

  3. Mix well and let the oats cook

  4. Add chia and coconut milk

  5. Let it cool

  6. Then top it with your toppings. I am adding a whipped coconut cream with turmeric and pepper powder!
