Plant Based Creamy Pasta

Guilt free pasta with non-dairy creamy sauce! Packed with fiber, protein and low in carbs compared to your traditional pasta recipe.

Ingredients:
2 cups chickpea pasta (I used the brand, Banza)
2 cups of cashews soaked in water for at least 30 min
1-2 tbsp Sriracha sauce (less if you don’t like spicy)
1 cup of nutritional yeast
Salt and Pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes
Instructions:
Cook pasta based on the box instructions
While that’s cooking, blend cashews with the water, Sriracha, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper. Adjust your spices and consistency - add almond milk if the sauce is too thick
Mix the pasta and the sauce. Top it with red pepper flakes and freshly crushed pepper
Feel free to add your favorite veggies to this pasta!
