Smoothie Bowl

A smoothie bowl that’s a meal in one! My favorite type of meal is the one that’s quick, no hassle of measuring , plant based, healthy and of course delicious! This smoothie bowl checks all the boxes for me.

I promise you will want more and you will be licking every bite like me 🙋🏽‍♀️ Fruits are demonized by certain diets! Natural fruits in their natural form offer fiber, vitamins, antioxidants and natural sweetness. This bowl has a vegetable, monounsaturated fats, protein, fiber, antioxidants and it’s so chocolatyyyy!!!


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup yoghurt (I used cashew)

  • 1 banana (1/2 in the smoothie and 1/2 on the top)

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (1/2 in the smoothie and 1/2 on the top)

  • 1 cup frozen spinach

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 scoop protein powder - I used chocolate flavored, vegan

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cacao

  • Pinch of cardamom

  • 1 teaspoon cacao nibs

Instructions:

  1. Blend all except 1/2 a banana and 1/2 of the blueberries. Make sure the almond butter blends evenly with the rest of the ingredients.

  2. Pour into a bowl.

  3. Top it with gojiberries, blueberries, cacao nibs and remaining banana.
